Marinedeck 2000 is crafted by Stazo, a Dutch company with over 30 years of expertise in delivering marine decking. Developed in the 1980s, Marinedeck 2000 offers a proven, eco-friendly alternative trusted by the boating and yachting industry.
Built specifically for harsh marine conditions, Marinedeck 2000 outperforms synthetic and repurposed cork products. Unlike other cork decking made from extruded sheets, Marinedeck 2000 is precision-moulded and high-pressure compressed, combining natural cork granules with a specially engineered binder.
This unique process ensures exceptional durability, strength, and environmental compliance — delivering a long-lasting, sustainable decking solution for boats, yachts, and more.
Whether you’re launching a new production model or refitting a cherished family yacht, we collaborate closely to deliver a decking solution perfectly suited to your needs.
The Marinedeck 2000 system is available in multiple formats:
Individual planks or large-format sheets
Seamed and caulked for a classic marine look
Uncaulked with bespoke designs
Custom templated, prefabricated decks for quick, seamless installation
CNC-cut decks using precise digital templates — perfect for production boatbuilding
Fully bespoke layouts and designs in unlimited sizes and styles
Each deck is precision-engineered to ensure durability, safety, and stunning aesthetics — designed to perform flawlessly and impress visually.
Decking options come in many forms — from classic teak and other sawn woods to plastic PVC alternatives or simple non-slip coatings. But natural cork offers far more benefits without contributing to deforestation or excess plastic manufacturing.

As sustainability becomes essential, Marinedeck 2000 cork granules are responsibly harvested under strict chain of custody principles and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC).
Cork (Suberose Parenchyma) is a highly uniform natural material composed almost entirely of sealed cellular membranes filled with air and carbon dioxide. One cubic centimetre contains around 40 million cells, providing outstanding thermal insulation — reducing heat loss by up to 36% or cooling surfaces by as much as 53%. Cork’s efficiency is proven by its use in protective heat shields for space missions.
To maximize cork’s unique properties, Stazo developed a hybrid synthetic binder and waterproofing system that meets strict environmental standards. Our consistent, high-quality production is ensured through rigorous quality control and cutting-edge technical design facilities.
