3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service (e.g. website hosting, email, order fulfilment)

International transfers

Our CRM, Zoho Bigin, is hosted on Zoho's EU data centre, which is covered by the UK's adequacy decision for the EEA. Our website hosting (StackCP) and email (StackMail) are provided by 20i, a UK-based company. Google (Analytics and Ads) may process data outside the UK; Google is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (the "UK-US Data Bridge"), which the UK government recognises as providing an adequate level of protection for this transfer.

4. Cookies

We use CookieYes to manage cookie consent on this website. We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, to support the enquiry form), and — only once you've given consent via our cookie banner — cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads/DoubleClick, used to show relevant ads and measure ad performance). You can change your preferences at any time via the Cookie Settings button. Full details of every cookie we use, including names, durations, and purposes, are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, typically:

  • Order and customer records: [confirm — e.g. 6 years, for tax/accounting purposes]
  • Marketing contact data: until you unsubscribe
  • Enquiry data: until the enquiry is closed/resolved, plus 24 months

We may retain information longer where required by law (e.g. tax records) or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ecomarinedeck.co.uk. We will respond within one month, as required by law.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator:
